Minerva Innovation Group is proud to support both the 2025 and 2026 Vets with Horsepower tours – The Italian Job (2025) and The Baltic Run (2026), led by Professor Derek Knottenbelt OBE, and a dedicated group of veterinary professionals and supporters travelling by motorbike.
In 2025, the team covered over 3,300 miles through the Netherlands, France, Germany, Switzerland, and Italy, with an extended stay in Sardinia, delivering continuing professional development (CPD) for veterinary professionals and raising vital funds for charitable causes.
In 2026, the team aims to cover a 3,000-plus-mile journey through northern Germany, Poland, and the Baltic countries, delivering 6 CPD day stops in Germany, Poland, Latvia, and Estonia and raising more funds for charitable causes.
Our logo has featured on the support vehicle throughout the 2025 tour, and we’re honoured to continue to play a small part in their incredible journey in 2026 by donating £1 for every mile the team travels during their international tour.
The Vets with Horsepower fundraising is supporting six remarkable projects (amongst many others):
· Changing Lives Malawi, helping complete a senior school in a remote community where GCSE-level education was previously out of reach
· Saving the Survivors, providing emergency veterinary care and equipment for wildlife injured by poaching, including rhinos, elephants, lions, and pangolins
· The Gambia Horse and Donkey Trust, which now runs one of West Africa’s leading equine and small animal hospitals, supporting both clinical care and veterinary training
· Shy Lowen Equine Sanctuary, just north of Liverpool, which rescues horses and transforms the lives of young people in a deprived area
· Mozambique Veterinary School, where donations are helping equip students with vital teaching tools like microscopes to support their development into future veterinary professionals
· The “Unbroken Kids” project in the St Nicholas Hospital in Lviv, Ukraine, providing recovery to children from across Ukraine, including those affected by the war. Here, children receive both physical and psychological rehabilitation
We’re proud to support such meaningful, sustainable work and look forward to seeing the continued impact of these projects.
